Why we need them both
In the webinar, I presented an overview of the past and present of Wi-Fi, from the first trial in 1971, to assess the role that Wi-Fi will have alongside with 5G.
My take: To realize the IMT-2020 vision, we need both Wi-Fi and 3GPP 5G. They will compete to some extent, but they also need each other.
